WHO: moto-i, a Minneapolis sake brew-pub and GreenCare for Troops, an organization whose mission is to match volunteers with Military Families while their loved ones are deployed and provide scholarships to military families seeking a degree in Horticulture.
WHY: Moto-i, a local sake brew-pub, will ring in this Christmas season by honoring our brave service men and women that are currently deployed. They chose GreenCare for Troops as the benefiting charity due to its mission to link volunteers with military families to provide assistance with lawn care and maintenance while their loved one is deployed; they also provide scholarships to military families.
Specifically this event will go to the Military Scholarship Fund for MN families who are seeking a degree in the horticulture industry. For many, the holidays represent family, and moto-i desires to acknowledge the sacrifice our military families make and the void they feel while their loved one is deployed; particularly during this season.
