TCC Gospel Choir Executive Director Sandra Hodges commented, “This is the fist concert that brings together our unique gospel sounds with the harmonies of Christmas to create an atmosphere of joy, love and thanksgiving. When you meld the twists we put on classic’s like the Quincy Jones arrangement of Handel’s “Hallelujah Chorus” and a revved-up “Joy to the World” you get a hand-clapping sampling of the many talented voices in our 75 person choir. Darnell’s choir sings contemporary gospel with fusions of rock and neo-soul. After intermission we’ll blend styles and voices to put everyone in the mood to truly celebrate the season!”
